Keep in mind that manuscripts are not just for people who make scrolls - they might contain a drawing of what you are looking for.

Search for multiple spellings of a word – jewelry , jewellery, jewelery / color, colour , gray/grey, etc

Search for foreign variations of words.

Search for misspellings of words.
